Boom Time Facial Hair

I feel Ivy is best conceived on the faces of people with out any growth...but Id like to see some good example of boom period facial hair...especially for those of us that look about 12 years old when were clean shaven.

Re: Boom Time Facial Hair

It's easy to find examples as the '60s wore on, but scant evidence from the '40s and '50s.

Re: Boom Time Facial Hair

I've just been looking for any non-hippy facial hair, not necessarily Ivy.  Trying to find shots of the average-Joe-man-on-the-street with facial hair in the '50s is pretty hard.  That shit just didn't fly.

I'm pretty sure that Uncle Walt was a Brooks Brothers kind of guy... he had a few cadet grey worsteds that he often wore on the old Disneyland anthology program that look very much like a no. 2 sack suit.
