Vinyl Spins

So I thought one way of introducing this thread would by Endtroducing it.

https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13903152_10210407612211661_1249382719454639479_n.jpg?oh=8a85f4a065324776f22dc5c9abb612fc&oe=581A01D1

One thing I've learned over the years is, it's never enough. When I picked up this grail item a few years back, I thought, "Well, that's it. I have everything. I can't imagine wanting anything more."

That thought lasted about 2 days, because, of course, one always learns of something new. Case in point: I went to the store this morning thinking I'd score a copy of To Pimp A Butterfly on LP. No such luck--temporarily out of stock, doncha know. I've got dibs on the next copy that comes in, though.

This was one of my favourite albums and covers, the golden tropical sunset is actually a poster beside a scrap merchants:

Japan's Tin Drum wonderfully exotic at the time, along with the photo of Sylvian with the tinned rice:

The Style Council, magnificent 12"s, but nothing better than the whole package on Café Bleu with the booklet and narrative by the Cappucino Kid and the artwork on the vinyl itself, especially the cappuccino side:

Talking Heads live with the cinematic panoramic photos of the band highly tanned and out there as far as anyone in the world funk new wave of weirdness of the time:

Awesome stuff here! Some of my favorites. I've always loved that Roxy cover. I have two copies.

I can't identify the cover with the food. Que es?
