Hermes ties: Twill vs. Heavy Twill vs. Woven

Friends,

what is your opinion on this? I usually buy the flimsy regular printed silk ones, but they have a quite limited lifespan, often they end up twisted.

Hence I switched to the (also printed) "Heavy Twill" ones, who often have patterns which regretfully are trying to be "more modern". Still, I like the matte finish and their durability.

Only recently I bought some of their woven ties, which have a more shiny finish. Not sure about them.

What are your opinions? If you dont know anything about Hermes, feel free to shit into this thread with random Corbyn/Trump/General Politics discussions.

The twisted tie issue can be resolved by always ensuring the knot in the tie is in the same place, so that the twist is not an issue, or be very gentle with the knot. As you know, once the twist is in, you can't iron out. Perhaps a dry cleaner, but has anyone ever, sent a tie to a dry cleaners as a matter of course?

Corbyn and Trump probably do that.
