Pinched off Ivy Style's FB page......Amazon have launched their own range of shirts called Button Down. $39 for a shirt with free international shipping.
Who's ready to sell out?

So they think "buttoned-down" refers to the placket buttons and not the collar buttons...
There are few more dreadful words than "non iron." Ugh...
They are from the same supplier/source as Lands End, it's a slightly cheaper version as it doesn't have a split yoke like the Lands End.

The same shirts turn up by the 'Solid Cliff' label in the UK and Germany.
I love this sort of inside knowledge Acton! Thanks
Presumably, you can tell me who are producing the new range of JS made in Scotland crew necks...?
It's cultural illiteracy reinforced in an era when a clean t-shirt and a pair of cargo shorts without holes amounts to elevated sartorial fluency.
^ you have woof, there were some madras long sleeves just before John started doing his own.

Solid Cliff chinos on Adaptor Clothing for £25 look an awful like the John Simons pair I have.

I have my trews tapered as per my standard obsession so never paid attention to the original hem...ahem...
