Thanks
Nabbed a pair of those PTBs, wasn't too sure about the leather but at £80 worth a go.
Bought a pair of the pebble grain loafers at half price
The leather isn't as good as vintage, but it does seem better than the most recent releases.
I bought a pair of the danite sole black Derby and the oxblood apron shoes in the sale, both are great. Leather seems far better than the plasticy Weejuns of a few years back. The GYW soles are strong and well made. Combined with the Mocs I have had Bass is my go to shoe company right now. Who knew! Finally want the brown grain Monogram apron shoe then done for a while.
Many thanks for the heads up Unseen as I managed to to bag the last pair of black apron shoes for my nephew. A pair of all leather goodyear welt shoes for less than a third of the original price!
I can't understand why these aren't shifting though....

I bought a pair of monogram chukka boots in wine/burgundy for knocking about in. They only cost £54 and are okay but I would not pay the full price of £160. The outside of the boot looks alright although the leather is a bit 'shiny' but the inside shows it is crudely put together. Maine USA on the boots and the box but no details of where the shoes were made. I tried to buy the brogues and the apron shoes earlier but three of my orders were cancelled so I was surprised when this order actually arrived.
Thanks for the tip off Unseen.
It is odd, some Bass footwear is great, some isn't. I have been lucky with choices so far.
