Lands End popover

Linen £45. There are frequent sales at Lands End.

Anyone bought one?

Re: Lands End popover

Not yet but bagged their polos in all colours and arm lengths during sales and discounts.

Shirts too, I have a load of their BDs.  Release I am wearing their end on end stripe BD right now!

Re: Lands End popover

How do you find the collar on their shirts?
I really don't like a less than 3 fingered roll.

Re: Lands End popover

I find the shirts vary in collar length.  I have blue and burgundy Bengal stripe button down's from LE that are plenty in collar length and I can wear comfortably with a knitted tie.  However some are a little shorter but fine for casual wear.  I'm not a tall guy so really long shirt collars can look a little out of proportion on me, so LE shirt lengths are good.   If wanting Brooks style collar length these won't satisfy generally.

I was in Orvis tonight at Lower Regent Street and their collar length is spot on, the Polos good and unstructured jackets good fit too (none were perfectly Ivy Style but all decent).  I spent a fair bit in there.  Not everything was to my taste but there was plenty to like there.

Collar does look a bit small

Re: Lands End popover

Spier and Macaye now do linen pop-overs with what appears a decent collar.  Haven't tried one on yet though
