St Crispins.

While I'm here...

Just took charge of my first pair, have to say I'm very happy with the outcome. Not cheap but, not overly expensive either though I could have spent more. Will for sure be getting other pairs in the future. Lots of options, and the shape I love on these...

Anyone tried the "personalised" last? I was going to but these fitted so well the guy in the shop said I'd be wasting my money.

I met with the owner of St Crispins and talked about bespoke and mtm shoes because l like what they make, but while talking to him lots of red flags were raised and made me think it is best to avoid this company. None-the-less, l will probably do a mto pair, but definitely not mtm or  bespoke for too many reasons to write here.

btw, lovely shoos.

About $1500 with trees Buffy. Personal last if needed is $320 as a one off payment. Some really great looking models on show and the options seem endless as to what Crispins will do. I'm still not sure about buying/ordering other models without trying them on first. Have to take a pair of Eddies there tomorrow for a small repair. Will chat a bit about matching my expectations then.
Worn them today for a short walk of 30 minutes, felt great but will be wearing them out Saturday night for clubbing which I guess will be more of a test.

I'm reluctant to order without trying the shoe on in my size, but my goodness some great looking shoes in the shop I was in. Had to go up a whole size in the pair I purchased. Will have a serious chat with the shop owner tomorrow...
