As the title implies, I want to purchase some pairs of shirts in plains and stripes and this is what I'm looking for (I live in Europe, you're free to suggest any maker across the pond too):
1) Good "liberty bell" style collar roll with a collar that isn't too small and can be worn with tie;
2) Pocket is optional;
3) If they are in Oxford cloth it's a plus, but I do not mind otherwise;
4) They will always be worn tucked in, so a good length is essential;
5) Price under 100usd/80ish euros due to the use I intend to have for these garments. Shipping excluded;
From what I've read thus far Kamakura seems to fit the bill nicely, but I would like to hear your opinions. Sadly, the only BB store I have access to is an outlet one and I have heard terrible things about their 346 line.

If you stretch your budget or the exchange rate shifts Drakes do 3 for £295. Really nice and made in England.
Have a look at John Simons own brand shirts. The quality is good and they have all the ivy details i.e. a good collar roll, pleated back, split yoke, locker loop, back button on the collar, flap pocket, gauntlet button and shirring on the sleeves.The only issue is that, being a small company they don't have the sales volume to be able to produce a detailed range of sizes so, the shirts are generically sized.
I am a 16/33 in Brooks shirts and I find that the the John Simons Large size fits me well - with the small reservation that the sleeves are a little long, so I get them altered. But its a matter of trying them to see if they suit you, for £75 they are excellent value in my opinion.

BB's OCBDs are a hit and miss in my experience. I have a handful of them and they're all different in terms of fit and cloth weight. Another option is the Land's End Original Oxford shirt. These are quite good in my opinion, the only problem is they don't make them anymore. Their Hyde Park model is a little disappointing because the collar is small and quite stiff too.
Dont quite follow the point about messing up the collars?
I guess because he has a thin neck so would look odd as the neck might measure 17" for his chest size?
Try doing some of these!

Ahh yes I see....i cant do the conversions with cm so didnt really follow the info
If thats your issue i think you might need to go for a m2m, you're not going to find much to cater for those dimensions

^3.5" Nothing more, nothing less.
Luxire shirt should be here around Monday, the Boggi arrives on Tuesday, hopefully, together with Berkeley's assessment of PC we can paint an honest picture of these MTM companies.
