The perfect suit fit

Inspired by Woof's ILSFT suits with perfect trouser break... Curious what you guys think is the look of a perfectly fitting suit... Photos encouraged...

I came across these three photos of RFK recently (one from Ox's blog) that, to me, exemplify the perfectly fitting suit:

Two grey suits, both J Press, one modern, one vintage. Both worn with Brooks non iron shirts and Brooks ties.

Non iron?? Le gasp!

Love those suits woof... The second one is interesting - is it a 3/2 or a 3-button? Nice to see a point collar, too...

Yeh, I've got a stock of Brooks non ironers for work, it's just easier 9 months of the year, although not in the height of summer as they're too darn hot!

I have considered trying tosteam a 3/2 roll into that older suit. It's quite a heavy cloth, the third button is quite a high stance and it doesn't look bad as it is. The only worry is whether rolling the lapels would make them look that much wider again?

I almost feel that they look too wide now, at such a high stance. I think they'd look more natural as a 3/2... But I agree, the jacket doesn't look bad as a 3-button, and if you like it, that's all that matters!

Excatly, what if you choose Ivy and you still look like a 6ft 4, 250 pound wrestler?

The suit might fit, but the shirt certainly doesn't!
