I know I should go. Apparently the build up has been three years in the making.

Re: The book party, in NY.

I find it peculiar that Manton posted to the other boards very frequently, but now in the period just before his book is published he has vanished.  Similar to the Sartorialist, who apparently now is famous for his photo blog.

What is the guy's bona fides any way? Has anybody seen photos of manton's clothing? We have seen the clothing of FNB, Mr. Grayson and many others, but I am not remembering any photos of manton's suits.

He does seem knowledgeable, but very set in his ways.

Re: The book party, in NY.

Perhaps we should all turn up dressed in black suits for the party.

By the way, Vaclav, nice suit.

Re: The book party, in NY.

I've seen Manton in person once, and he was well dressed by any standard that day.
