Re: The Ivy League Style: The Boom Years.

...RIP Patrick McGoohan!

These British actors are definitely among my style icons and among my favourite actors...

...just like Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Lee Marvin, John Cassavetes, Montgomery Clift, Anthony Perkins, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Cary Grant, Robert Mitchum, Humphrey Bogart, Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck... and all the others...

edit: this list was far too long....and way off topic, for the Talk Ivy community...

^ Wonderful pics D&F,  "Tiffanys" along with "Love With The Proper Stranger" were two of my earliest film influences.

Peppard absolutely nailed the look, his wardrobe in Tiffanys is timeless.

In my opinion it is a perfect template to base an Ivy-styled wardrobe on.

Re: The Ivy League Style: The Boom Years.

Has anyone else noticed that if you switch those Democrat pins on Paul Newman for a big Goldwater pin, we could be looking at our Patrick, perhaps a little more animated than normal?
