Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks McG. Similar weather here too. It rained about 2.30pm and these buck soles are lethal on wet ground. No joke.

Whats kind of material is BB jacket?

Whats going on round here? This thread used to be full of proper dirty looking charity shop shoppers who didn't know one end of an iron to the other or seriously duff square looking dudes. All of a sudden its got a bit hip.

Less slave to "the golden years" and more "on it".

Re: Ivy League style for today

I've got a modern navy wool BB hopsack weave, that I picked up in an Arnotts sale…hehe!

Good work on the jacket, especially as the BB concession in Arnotts has just closed, replaced by RL.  The young assistant I spoke to suggested that it didn't really chime with the customers, who - surprise surprise - like logos and branding, as he did. So the problem with modern BB from his point of view was the exact opposite to what most people on here think: not modern enough.

Re: Ivy League style for today

That's a bummer dude. And sad. I loved popping in there to take a squiz at the concession.

I used to have a couple of long sleeve polos by RL but a couple years ago every other kid on the high street started wearing them. So I gave them away. Lands End sales are where I pick them up now. I think the only RL item at the moment is a green/white striped sweatshirt.
