Re: Ivy League style for today

A Pendleton Topster is pretty far off lumberjack gear as I would call it.

I'll let others judge it, I just can't find it in me to celebrate contrasting stitch chukka boots.

I have to say it's one thing bearing a resemblance, but to have the excat same nose...I wonder if he's had work done..

Re: Ivy League style for today

I think Verr looks great,  but I wouldn't be interested in dressing like that myself.

However we are not Fedora Lounge here and I would think we do try to keep things some what current,  at least in terms of we're not trying to be historical reenactors, but carrying on vartions of a look that never died?

That said if people think this forum isn't doing it for them, there are plenty of other options available out there.

I've been planning my exit strategy and defection to the hat lounge for some time now.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I'll just say this...  Regardless of Verr's stitched chukkas, it appears his compass is pointing in the right direction.  Plus, with his Tab Hunter good looks, he could do a lot for my Talk Ivy recruiting campaign.
