Seems that a back rise from about at least 14" is the minimum with a front rise of 11". 15" plus seems even better...
And thanks for the Kudos fo my loafers - they are still a bit narrow and uncomfortable but they are coming....
rest of the outfit - no pic today - was an LG OCBD (the striped one), a chocolate coloured thin crew neck jumper, a wine red c-buckle belt and my olive Baracuta G9... classic but also modern I suppose.
back rise of my 501s: 15,7 (front rise is 11,5) - pretty good for modern Levi's...

Three great Jackets, though Woof is winning the race right now it terms of the cut of his coat in my eyes. Is Oli going to kill the bird with a full 3 piece? Will ZarJazz return with that Haspel number we were competing for when Lloyd had it up for auction?
