Re: Ivy League style for today

Cold and wet again (funny weather). Only had about 10 sunny days in 3.5 months and it's taken it's toll on me. Hasn't been so bad (constant cloudy days) in years.

* pink mohair vintage jumper
* brown cords
* brown heavy duty Harris Tweed coat
* moave Borrelli shirt
* vintage brown belt
* tan Trickers gunboats

Re: Ivy League style for today

Out earlier this morning for the papers. Real Autumnal feel with a chill in the air but the sun almost necessitating sunglasses.

Navy blue Viyella BB long sleeve BD over Hanes Beefy white T shirt
Old tan 5 pocket needlepoint cords - slouchy!
Brown leather belt with heavy brass buckle
Blue woollen socks
Natural suede dessies - cheap purchase but nicely worn in now
Vintage navy Campus windcheater
Old traditional style 'scratchy' wool college scarf - blue/white/yellow vertical stripe (my football team colours)

Home now for breakfast. Coltrane's "My Favourite Things" on the stereo, mug of strong black coffee and a bowl of proper Scottish porridge. Very small nip of whisky. Nice!

Re: Ivy League style for today

Vintage stripe Oxford button down
Black RL chinos, outside label removed from rear pocket
Longines Conquest from 1959 (a good year for jazz)
No shoes, not moving from the house
Several fine ales from only the 55th best brewey in the world:
http://www.brouwerijdemolen.nl/
And the best jazz collection in The Hague
And as Edgar Allan Poe composed:
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts, queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away.
What care I how time advances:
I am drinking ale today.

I guess he was outta' laudanum that day
