Thank you, RMP. How do you wash them? Cold?

That's a nice look, Chief. What type of Wigwams are they and where did you get them from?

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks, Martyn. I bought them a forum member on the for sale thread. HOOT ( Recommended!). Listed as the Husky model. They are still there ( on the last page of that thread) with pics.

Re: Ivy League style for today

The huskies are nice thick socks. Great stuff for winter. Sometimes they can be a bit bulky for penny loafers, but I don't generally mind it. For daily wear I normally go with the Wigwam 625.

I just wash them on warm and then dry them on low heat with the rest of my stuff. No shrinkage that I've seen. I'm kinda lazy about laundering instructions, though.

Thanks man, I went to an old red sauce joint last night (Fior d'Italia; est. 1886) so the burgundy color was a practical coat of armor against inevitable noodle splash back.

How old is the J.Press sack?

Re: Ivy League style for today

I have several pairs of Wigwam Huskies for winter. I can't imagine wearing them anywhere above 50 F or so, though. They also seem a bit incompatible with loafers.

Re: Italian food in D.C.

Filomena's is pretty decent. I like Canale's pizza. Famous Luigi's closed about three years ago, unfortunately. I'm just looking for that place to pop in with the plastic table cloths, gaudy/yellowing decor and Dean Martin floating through the air.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Not '70s.

I like Corno's professionally clean look, and that of Chief.  Derm's last torso combo was great, and of course digging Oli's Saturday night fever.  And I'll add that it was great to see McGeorge's face in a fine outfit a few pages back.  And Woof too.  All very fine displays of what keeps me coming back time and time again.

I won't divulge too much, but I'll just say that I spent the past two days in the same blue uni stripe Makers.
