Nothing short of awesome, Oliver! Details?
The mirror effect is very cool, by the way.

It's one of many custom Mercers that I had cut last year; 3-button placket and collar (back button) with Press-style flap pocket and full half-sleeve length. I think the swatch is Black Sand & White Cotton. I've got the same seersucker stripes in Buzzard's Bay Blue, Nantucket Red, and Everlasting Yellow; plus the Cream and Silver Cloud Two-Ply Pima Oxfords w/ identical specs.
I just shot another order through last week for their White End on End Broadcloth with Bold Blue Stripe (68WN) in full-sleeve this time; inspired by one of WM's pullovers and an old photo of Stan Getz in a similar number that I've seen somewhere.
One thing that I've been noticing lately, is that a lot of contempo fashion brands like PRL and others in that mold, cut really short plackets that don't extend past the chest pocket, which looks proportionally all out of whack, imo. That's my personal sartorial irritation for the season: tapered popovers with chintzy plackets that are hemmed short of the breast pocket.

Nice. And yes, I've noticed that, too. J. Crew had some popovers a couple of years ago that I checked out, including some seersucker, but they suffered from the mistakes you mentioned. Overall, much too skimpy on everything.
That shirt looks great Oli. Think I might get onto Mercer to make me a couple. Did you get them to taper the body - that shirt doesn't look super-baggy, although photos can be deceptive?
Thanks, Sal. I always have my Mercers cut to 14 ½ x 33 with a 15 collar.
It's a full cut and as I've mentioned on the forum before, David likens the fit to mid-century Brooks Makers with the above specs and I'd have to agree. It's blousy but not excessively so; definitely not a tapered cut like Hugger/Purist/etc. Works great for me.
They're definitely guilty of that, I noticed it when they were first posted.
Looks good Derm, is that the one your sliming into? Now you just need to trim the beard to go with the other efforts you're making ; )
Not saying you should cut it off, just tidy it up.
It is the one! I haven't gotten it taken out yet because I'm losing some weight recently. Cut out soda and dropped a few pounds quickly. I'm going to see where I'm at in a week or two and then decide if I need an extra half inch in the waist. It's still just a hair too snug. Feels good though!
Mon Capitaine, what a sight for sore eyes.
Hope you are good Bud ?
Oi, Captain! Good to see you again in such fine form!
Spoken like a true Capricorn....
Sorry Sagittarius... my bad
