Yer looking pretty, pretty, pretty good, McDerm. Man, that beard, though. You gotta trim that thang. It's 90F here, m'lady tell me it's HOT in Balmore, and just looking at it makes me break out in a sweat. It's a weird way of your getting me hot that I'm not too fond of. Okay, I won't say anything more about the beard.

When I was a young man, I thought I wanted a beard. I even grew one. Wintertime only, though, in Minnesota. I was a pragmatical beard grower.

I suppose it is only a matter of perception. With no corroborating evidence, you're right--I can't honesty say that you or anyone in that photograph is wearing a beard.
