Great looking suit Harpo, and congratulations.
Congratulations indeed!
Congrats, Harpo! Looking sharp. Heck, even I'd say "yes" to you in that suit.
Colin, that cord jacket looks great.
Congratulations Harpo, hope you had an amazing and exceptional day. Looking sharp as a tack.

Nice work all around Harpo. I'd get married if I had a suit like that. Oh wait, I do...
Congratulations on the suit and marriage!
NASA would be proud
Is it generally acceptable to wear ties with popovers? I mean nobody's gonna know ( unless it's a bow tie)
Didn't all shirts used to be popovers once upon a time?. Haven't raked it out in a while but I'm sure I have a Black Fleece popover - it's definitely a (long sleeved) dress shirt.
Philly, that looks great with the skinny tie.
My vintage Sero popovers are a bit long to wear untucked and certainly too full in the body to not look uncomfortable but the modern ones can be worn either way, wearing a natural waisted trouser means the shorter body still stays tucked in. The only one I always wear untucked is my Dobie Gillis popover with the poncho hem.
They were pullovers way back in the day - as I understand it the popover was an updated version appearing in the early 60s (or earlier for all I know) with a shorter placket.
What I have always heard is that half sleeve pop-overs are for wearing tucked in with or without a tie and that short sleeve pop-overs are made for more casual meant to be worn untucked.
Popover madness! My friends were split - the girls thought I looked good, guys thought I looked like a math teacher. If it's a 1965 math teacher who moonlights at Cape Canaveral, I'm ok with that
I was taught that if the hem of the shirt was straight then it was designed to be worn untucked (think ladies blouse style) otherwise it was meant to be tucked in like a 'normal' shirt.
But we all agree the popover is the only shirt allowed to be worn untucked, yes? Personally only permissible in high summer with shorts, sandals & sunglasses for me.
Perfect Bradley.
I really don't mean anyone else any offence by this, but yourself, Harpo, The Worried(Hit)Man, Oliver maybe the Early to Mid and for a late '60s vibe Sancho and Tomiskinkyconsistently get the Boom years look just right.
There are plenty of great, stylish dressers on here, but yourself and those mentioned could be photoshopped into a Boom years shot and we'd never know if we didn't know your faces!
