Oli... O'Connell's, am I right? If so, I am tres jealous. Even more than I already am. That's a great sweater.

Both of those are beautiful, WM... I myself looked very similar to pic #2 the other day. What are those mocs? I know you like Rancourt...? Beautiful plaid on that shirt as well... Excellent all around

And though it may not be as hot a topic on TI - where'd you get those jeans?

Brad, are you in NYC?

I like everyone's looks and I'm particularly digging WorriedMan's latest JFK inspired 'do.

To answer your question, the shirt is Mercer's "Robert Frost" brushed three-season flannel.

Chipper, the cardi 'n' cords are indeed O'C.

Ah man, that first picture is ace, WM. Something about that herringbone and khakis screams correctness.

Cheers, P&O.

Berkeley, those are indeed Rancourt mocs.  They come highly recommended from me, that's for sure.  The jeans are just really worn in Levi's 505s.  Not LVC or anything special.  Shirt is a recent Viyella.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Don't the collars on those modern Viyellas bother you? I bought half a dozen online several years ago and I just can't bring myself to wear them because of those stiff little fused and lined collars; they're super rigid. The alpha sizing is also really off for me. I've given up on them... I keep one that I occasionally sleep in on really cold nights.

Yes. The collar is crap.  I like the fit.  It's a work-in-the-yard sort of shirt for me.  I mean, look at that stiff cuff on the rolled sleeve.  It's like cardboard.

Brad, very cool.  Sorry, but I don't have another shot of the jacket at the moment.  It's a Southwick Douglas model from O'Connell's.

Very sharp, Derm. I own what looks like the blue version of your LL Bean cardigan. It's a good one.

Yes. I generally don't like a layer under a blazer, but this works, doesn't it.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks, all! I know that a sweater under a blazer is controversial here. I think WM and AC dressed me down once for it, actually! (pun intended) And I do understand why some oppose the extra layer. But I like it, so I go with it. De gustibus non est disputandum!
