If you're a large in Smedley, a M in Bean is about best equivalent for sizing.
My sweater is actually from Bose.co and they call it a Holm. I have always wanted a Bean Norwegian, but Bean sizing runs too large (wide and long) for it to work for me.
Acton - Thanks for the lead!

Leer- you're a legend but where's the Ivy?
Fear not Lear, this side of the forum strayed far from pure Ivy long ago, Bop was evidence of that. It was Formby who suggested it should be renamed Americana, as that it was described it best. As per the title of the topic Ivy League Style For Today!
Ivy must go far wider than the narrow constraints suggested by the original leading lights of this forum, as exemplified by the little bible 'The Ivy Look, excellent book though it is. It could have never been the case that the style was dictated by a few cognoscenti coming along years later this side of the Atlantic, or even the other. I like Leer's coat, that could have easily have turned up in a mens outfitters anywhere during the boom years, especially as European clothing was prized and mixed into the style.
Having said that I'm not struck on orange trousers in the middle of winter, or at any time of year.
