Great jacket, Brownie! ^

I have the same one, picked up in a second-hand store in Vancouver last fall.  Love it.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I've officially started the Madras season:

baggy Hathaway short sleeve: light blue, off white, green, yellow, "black"...
LL Bean khakis
red argyle socks
Sanders brown "Play-Boy" style crepe chukka boots
dark navy G9

got some more Madras from Nick in the mailbox this morning, a long sleeve Gant, and a short sleeve Land's End, both really lovely... Thanks a lot!

Re: Ivy League style for today

Concert wear, but pretty smart casual.

*  navy local wool trousers
*  dark brown Vass F last wholecuts
*  dark brown vintage belt
*  brown striped Kiton tie
*  pink bespoke shirt
*  vintage cufflinks
*  houndstooth-ey wool sportscoat (made in Oz)

might wear pockethanky, might not. Need to find one that works, but i'm not feeling lucky.

I think not.  But I do know that it all depends on what you're used to. You really do look fine to me.

Thanks a lot - compared to Baracuta or Fred Perry 36s the arms a shorter. Body fits great! I'll just follow a 'no break' rule on the sleeves!
