Re: Ivy League style for today

Good look Tom.

I was considering the Baracuta shawl collar myself but the logo (why oh why do they feel that's necessary?) put me off, and I don't have your admirable patience to unpick it.

I've had a Lands' End catalogue through today though and I quite fancy their shawl collar cardi - worth a look at £69 methinks.

Also like the look of the Mikkel Rude chunky knit (not shawl collar) cardi.

And the new Albam roll neck.

Decisions, decisions.

Robbo what a fucking wanker you are.

I cannot praise the Hawick's cardigan I bought off this board recently enough - been wearing it almost daily when working from home!

I just saw a real life trad at the el station, the first ive ever seen. My ivy look for the day is track pants and an old milwaukee brewers shirt with holes in it.

dunno, i tried to get a better look but was laughing too hard. it was the self-important, dorky posture more than the clothes, really.

I try not to laugh too hard in public nowadays.  I have become so short-sighted that I look inscrutable and have to carry my reading glasses in a case in order to be able to read album covers, the price of eggs, book blurbs etc. etc.  Highly embarrassing.  Even that strapping young John Gall will find nature catching up with him if he carries on burning the candle at both ends.

Re: Ivy League style for today

indeed, the gant shirt! And the chinos are dockers, I think it's S-1, it's called. A slim-fit. Not a high rise, but by no means hipster. I'd like to try a higher waisted chino I think. I got them from american classics and wear them near everyday.
