Nice one Macabee - what I like about your posts is the drink detail to go with the clothes - a man after my own heart. Here on the West Wales coast it's not really fizz weather, and I'm both wearing and imbibing something heavier to keep out the weather, as follows:
Dark brown vintage saddle shoulder shetland sweater
Black university stripe Brooks OCBD
Levis
Brown vintage British Walkers longwings
Fortified with a large glass of Rioja.

A pleasure Harpo, thanks for the comments.
At the moment down here on the 'sunny' south coast it is raining, but we do need it, as we are in drought conditions.
So I shall be moving on from the fizz to a finger or two of my particular poison Bourbon, mine is "Benchmark" from Waitrose an excellent tipple.
Then to consider what to wear in the morning, my Madras shorts, or maybe not.

Decisions, decisions......
Ah, it's a hard life indeed! I might have to resort to the single malt later - the peatier and smokier the better.
^I'm a great believer that G&T's should only be imbibed in tropical conditions and much of the summer here in the Netherlands can be described as sub-tropical, particularly when it comes to mosquitos. Therefore, expecting a major summer experience this weekend, I spent the last of my pocket money on Gin and Indian tonic water, a major mistake as the weather conditions have deteriorated somewhat.
Luckily, I had hidden away, a bottle of the Welsh whiskey, Penderyn, that was being saved for a Welsh guest along with a Victorian copy of the Mabinogion.
Well, needs must and I've opened up the bottle and its a great drink to have whilst listening to Stan Getz.
land's end madras (burgundy, navy, pale yellow, off-white etc
beige shoorts
desert boots
choc brown but worn / faded linen flat cap
ice cold lager + a small bowl of pistachios
Indeed the very lady.
Somewhat fragile today, the best I can manage is an old white Lacoste button down from my carioca days and a green pair of chinos from Austin Reed.

I was expecting Anna Chapman...

^ Ditto. Very, very nice. And enough to coax me out of temporary "T.I" posting hibernation too. Thanks!

Colin - excellent man! Love that suit........
Glad I could tempt you back Staceyboy!
Thanks for the kind words - Ivy Icon is far too strong though, adam! I suspect you're just a sucker for grey flannel suits? (myself included).
