A mate of mine came across them online. On etsy I think and bought them for himself. Too big for him so I had them off of him. They're not proper vintage unfortunately, rather a limited run of US made styles they they put out. They ad said 90's? I'm not sure about when tbh.
They're not the slip ons, but 'Era's' I think.
The wikipedia page says they stopped producing in the US in the early 90's. They might be from just before then I suppose. TBH, not much difference between these and the modern ones I still have from my mid teens.
Much rarer examples out there still;

You look like your just about to go on stage with the Remains Oli! Nice stuff.
Thanks!
More like french dinner out with the folks tonight, though.
Aye, I'm the same... except my fiance does my alterations. When I showed her where I wanted my last pair she rolled her eyes so much I thought she was having a seizure.
Any Sta Prest I've owned have been ebay or charity shop vintage. Not often do I come across any vintage for a good price, but worth it when it happens.
I found a pair recently in Oxfam that would be way too big for me, but bought them anyway planning to ebay them. I'd happily send them on to you nice and cheap, if it'd help you out. Size W36L34. Model is a white label 566 (made in Italy) and they're 'stone' coloured. Hardly worn from the looks of things. Let me know if you're interested.

Bumfreezer looks a great length Oliver. Great continental Ivy style.
I thought as much. I'll keep my eye out for you anyway. I take a 28 or 29 if it comes up on ebay. Not that rare a size really. Keep your eyes peeled and you will find bargains.
My best tip (which I probably shouldn't tell you as it sounds as though we may be looking for the same sizes) is to search for things like 'Sta Press' 'Stay prest' and 'Stay Pressed'. Often these fall between the cracks and go cheaper.
I also like Lee Prest, which as I remember are very slim and tapered. I only bought one pair which turned out to be too small (they come up about an inch small) so were sold on... but if a size 30 came up in good condition I'd take a punt.
What the hell time is it over there? Do your parents know you're on the computer at this hour? Kidding, kidding.
Whata ya doin', havin a few?
I'm not a highwater man at all - I even like a minimalist break.
But I learnt with my guy push my pants down a bit, not exactly as much as a skateboarder, when he's down measuring and tut tutting in Greek. I do a variant when hes doing jacket sleeves.
It took me ages to realise his wife - who is also a bloody great seamstress - is more accommodating (no,no, Big Tony, not in the nudge nudge way). I sussed that she's more worldly and street smart too- hes the creative I think.

You fellas are visiting the wrong tailor if that's what it takes. Especially if you're bringing back your trews and paying twice!
