I wouldn't say that. More like a linebacker... though cave trolls would make excellent linebackers.
Haha, I'm quite lucky to have landed a job at a men's outfitters that carry large sizes, as well as work opposite 3 charity shops which seem to be filled with Brooks Bros, RL and Lands End, as well Savile Row/Jermyn Street and Italian suits n' shirts. I've hit the jackpot really.

Aye. Much better being your build than mine in the Ivy game.
What collar are you? And chest size I'll keep an eye out.
14.5. 37 chest . 28 waist. A shocking combination.
Yeah that is a tough one. I'll keep my eyes pealed.
worn brooks blue ocbd
orange-ish shetland

filthy cole haan bucks
johnstons lambswool scarf - gordon tartan?
Kinda trampish, suits me.

I'm not too far off that size myself (W30, C36, N15). It's actually a surprisingly good size for vintage tailored clothing. Plenty of stuff that was fast outgrown and rarely worn.
For most of today's hight street retailers, these sizes no longer exist.
I tend to find vintage is a much better fit. The best fitting shirt I have is a 70's Brooksgate madras. It's as if it was tailored for me. No chance of finding that in a modern retailers (apart from Jump the Gun in Brighton maybe).
I've pretty much given up on combing the high street for the reasons you mentioned.
