Sorry to say but that Fairisle looks like a bad interpretation of the pattern. It's hard to say much more except, I knew it wasn't Scottish Fairisle straight off the bat. I think it's those vertical bars cutting through a few yokes at a time. Doesn't sit right with me. I don't think I've ever seen that in the real deal.
I wouldn't say anything if I didn't have mucho respect for you and what you've been doing on the thread recently. Apologies if I've offended.
I thought that look really quite horrible, reminding me of certain well-concealed photographs of myself circa 1970. I will not tell you what I am wearing, but it involves purple flares and a cravat.
Oo Bop Sh'Bam should take care not to ramble and check his spelling, grammar and punctuation. He posted a photograph of a nice pair of longwings the other day - I think Harpo took rather a shine to them - and they look as if they should last him long after he has learned the error of his ways and recanted.

I thought it had the 80's mod-revival Gabicci thing going on, because of like you said L, those bars. Well I like it, the colours work well with my equally non-ivy SJ. Oh well, onwards and no doubt downwards!
It has an 80's gabicci vibe for sure... but that's a very bad thing.
Haha, yes I would agree, but this swung me. And no doubt left me dizzy. I still stand by it. It's going in the Continental end of the wardrobe.
Oh and to let you know there are some Florsheim Camp mocs in the charity shop, but they've got them on for £20, bit of a piss take but I can send you a photo, think they're marked as a US 8.5
Too big for me. I'm a piddilly diddilly 6.
