Mine is the slightly shorter cut Trials version that doesn't accomodate the liner? It's ok though, I have a wonderful submariners roll neck for the really cold days on the scoot, merino over a shirt and a tootal suffices on most occasions.
Haven't tried the mudlark on, but would love the beans to buy a Universal Racer Mk2 Jacket.
Yep, I'm sorry but Alan Flusser's a bit of a joke style wise.
I like Tim Gunn though my friend was into him from some show, and she said for me to check him out, he's a cool guy.
I just googled them both and can safely say I won't be taking their advice. Gunn wears some well-cut suits, but with money and connections like his you'd have to try hard not to.
Come on where's the fun in that, mention those names.
Brutal..
But fair.
Like it Patrick. Is that a Montecristo your smoking?
^ Naw, Consuego, something like that. I get them for $28 a bundle. They smell like a cross between dried turd and old sweat sock. Guaranteed to clear a room.

That's more like it, not my style either but looks great. I guess some can, some can't.
Love it Patrick. I agree with GW on this (is that a first?). Not my personal style but I can really appreciate what you're doing there.
Hats off to you.
Here's the thing: I do this because I enjoy it.
I lived a deliberately subterranean and mostly unpleasant life for 20 years — pretty much the period between age 18 to 38. Lots of drinking, drugging and related activities.
In that time I saw a lot of ugliness. I'm all set in that category.
Why not have some fun now?
Also I recently made some serious dents in the clothing collection, donating some pretty decent stuff to a church sale (for a food bank). Lots of Brooks, Lands End, Press, but also a couple of Oxxford suits and various jeans and things that never fit right. It was a wrench but needed to be done, and has had the excellent side effect that pretty much everything I reach for a) fits and b) I know I like.
Well hats off to you again then. I always look forward to you're posts anyway. You have that great 'don't give a fuck'ness about you that I recognise in all the people I've met and been deeply impressed by.
I've a couple of friends who have gone the subterranean route. It's heartbreaking when you think back to the smart funny sharp kids they used to be and now they are drug zombies. I only hope they make it out the other side like you did, Patrick, with all their gears still turning properly.
