It's a shame it's impossible to find proper wool pants these days (16oz+), I hate thick long johns. Hard to avoid when the temperature approaches 20 below though.  Maybe I should commision some wadmal trousers.

Thanks, these look proper. A little more civilized than my swedish field pants as well.
