A day indoors for me too. I was mainly wearing.. Black and grey herringbone tweed sack made by Jay Briggs of San Francisco, JS green cord popover, uniqlo white T, Levi's made and crafted chinos and M&S slippers.

I should hope it's a house party and you will be travelling door to door with something warm on top. It's -1 here just now. I imagine it's only slightly warmer in the south.
The outfit I love though. Madras, chambray and a khaki wash and wear. That's a winner.
For me:
White thermal under shirt
Lion of Troy Hopsack s/s popover
Tartan loungey about trousers
Big wool fishing socks
Not leaving the house. Not even if it's on fire.

Aye, it's Summer rules if you are indoors at a sweatbox house party. Tweed would be no good. No point in looking any more red faced than you would with all that lovely christmassy booze.
