Thats Dennis, he's not really into clobber. At the back is Jools. He makes leather goods for Hermes. Gets loads of freebies of them. The bastard.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Yeah that is the pre-64 Pendleton Topster, the ladies was called the 49'er and had four-buttons, this Topster would've been made to order due to it being an xxl, according to Acton you could only get xxl and xxxl's made to order, I wouldn't have had a clue.

Re: Ivy League style for today

It's Monday morning. Seeing some Italian clients today so chancing an Ivy business look. Therefore I'm sporting:

Vintage Brooks Charcoal grey 3-button sack suit
Folded Paul Stuart linen pocket square
Pale blue Brooks end-on-end button-down
Vintage Clyde Campbell University Shop Repp tie
Vintage Aquascutum Car-coat in House check (olive green variant)
Viyella grey wool socks
Allen Edmonds black Grayson tassel loafers
Vintage (or knocked about) Brooks Peal & Co black top-frame brief case.

And a splash of Floris "Limes" about the jowls.

Now let's really close that deal!

Some cracking colours in the Pendelton - are you snowboarding or working? Heating on full in the studio and still feel cold!

Re: Ivy League style for today

Agree with tom on the Pendleton. Colours are awesome. I think the whole things would look better with a black watch cap personally. You do get US surplus watch caps with skips on them but they are always black AFAIK. That one looks brown (?) but may just be your filter.

Like your look too Tom. Can't fault it. And it's a great photo in general too. One to keep a hold of.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I did have a nice deep blue and orange flecked chunky beenie but lost the thing, that used to go nice, funny you mention blackwatch though, because the shirt i had under it yesterday was the blackwatch bean, and it did go quite nicely.

Yeah the hat is reddish brown btw the filter doesnt do much to the colours on this one, i thought the brown related nicely to the yellow over stripe, maybe not!

Re: Ivy League style for today

Tom and THOR !!! great photos, they look like stills from some 'Nordic Noir' detective show.
One the ace, but disturbed, cop and the other a crafty stone cold killer.

I'll let you decide which is which big_smile
