Re: Ivy League style for today

Man, I've got a huge haul of those shirts in last year but they're all teen sizes!

I'd still do anything for an adult medium or large... how small does the fit run?

I've got one madras in a medium that once I maneuver over my shoulders (not easy!) fits me okay, but I was starting to wonder if they even came in adult sizes or were just made for teens. Where'd you find it?

Re: Ivy League style for today

It's a medium and fits like a regular 60s tee. I believe we're both 15-33 so I think I/we could still probably get away with adult size small. I got it from ebay last summer, but didn't really get to wear it then.

Oliver - Thanks! The shorts are chambray from Old Navy that cost $5.

Woolster - That second pic is cool.

Thanks Ox, good job with the alterations.

Oliver - shit, that's some bad luck you've had there. 18 though, that's a youth size is it not? But yeah, the bigger sized henleys are very hard to find. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Yeah, I paid a couple of sawbucks for the lot though (all from the same source) so no big loss... just disappointing!

18 is a youth size.  Be careful, sometimes something labeled as a size 14, you may think will fit, like a size 14 or 14 1/2 - 32 small men's shirt, but it's a 14 youth size.  No chance getting that on.

Pretty solid jeans, nice details, can't complain at all. These are their Turkish denim.

Tom,
looking good matey,
it sounds like you've got a proper sinus infection (try some Anbesol or Oil of Clove for your toothache, if that don't work for the tooth pain its probably an infection above your jawline and will need a trip to the doctor).

Moose,
That's a cracking look, really digging those venetian loafers are they vintage or current ?

Me today,
it's a rare day off so drinking early to watch the Lions match...

Weejuns, black beaters.
Red socks,
LVC 505's,
Vintage bleeding madras button-down 1/2 sleeve, a recent Beyond Retro find for a £5.
Pendleton Topster, solid red (mid-50's 'shirt collar' style lapel).
