Cool picture WM. Nearly as good as the BBQ one a couple of years back.

Stan, the phone is functional and works perfectly.  But it's not plugged in since we don't have old fashioned phone service anymore.  I believe you might have trouble using it in a modern office or a home line that has Internet / phone / cable all connected. But if you have a regular old phone line it should work fine.  These old model 500 phones are some of the most reliable machines ever made. This one was in serious need of a thorough cleaning when I found it, but it's beautiful now.  Hard to use?  Well yeah, you've got to stick your finger in this wheel and spin it around a bunch.

Ahhh.  Not sure how you'd navigate a prompt menu with one. That might not work.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Bought them all.

The moving sale was pretty good. A lot of 60-70% off trousers, shirts, and jackets. A lot of the York Street stuff is weird, but the trousers I bought were York Street. I was expecting when I tried them on they would be low-rise and all that, but they were great at $58 each. There was another pair that was half of both colors...one leg each. Bizarre.

The jacket I was looking at was also York Street. I didn't try it on so maybe the length is off, but I think I'll go back and see.

Was hoping winter accessories might be more heavily discounted. I need a pair of warm non-dress gloves. The pair I liked were $110 minus 25%. Too much for what they were. I can probably find something at Orvis or some outdoor-type store cheaper and better. They had me at $50. But not $80 something.
