Shoe-porn - excellent work chaps.

Changeable weather today in West London so...

Sperry Topsiders , amaretto leather,
LVC Bedford cords , off white (from the last batch and not quite right),
Voss leather belt,
JS short sleeve blue oxford,
Barracuda G4, Project147 edition (navy blue waxed fabric with a corduroy collar),
M+S waterproof flat cap, charcoal plaid.

I think the wet look suits you Ox.  As does the outfit.  What's the shirt?  Nice collar.

Hahaha.  Aren't they a little behind the times there?  I thought the Beatles and the Beach Boys killed wet head.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Why does Vass mold to feet better, and why do goodyear welted shoes feel like cardboard boxes???

Answer = it's to do with the way the feather is created on the shoes imo. Very very important.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I'm sure those Austro-Hungarian shoes are very well constructed and solid. Like a WWII German concrete bunker, really, really ugly but very well constructed.

Compared, say, to a simple, 19th C. town house, which couldn't stand a direct hit by artilery, but would be much more comfortable and stylish to live in.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Some strong looks here lately, especially loved the last ones from Woof, Billax and Doghouse.
