Re: Ivy League style for today

One historical reason for the wave of English shoes to the US in to post WWII years was rationing in Britain. Manufacturers in the UK had to find export outlets, and the US market was booming.

I find myself increasingly drawn to English shoes, especially country shoes, after amassing plenty of American pairs over the years.

Today they're dark brown nubuck Pediwear chukkas. Wrangler 13MWZ, Norman madras half-sleeve shirt, Navy Keydge on top.

I quite liked the 'stache Sancho. It went perfectly with that Bay Area student activist hippie ivy look you had going on smile The jeans look pretty skinny - what are they?
