WM it is interesting though. The differences and more so the assumptions they engender.
Here xmas is long summer school holidays - schools break around end November and go back in Feb - and heat, BBQs, outdoors, perhaps even cricket, and beaches.
Here beaches mean sand and surf.

Many, if not most, Australian businesses close down from Xmas eve to the day after New Years Day. Trying to get anything done in building or business form Dec 20 to Jan 14 or so is hopeless. Its an unbelievably laid back time of year. I don't believe this happens anywhere else much. It shocks newcomers.

Helo again everybody, been keeping an eye on here and some strong looks going on this summer.

Back home and back to my wardrobe,
Pebble grain Yumas,
Sperry 'no-show' loafer socks,
Vintage Levis 519's in stone/ecru,
Pebble grain surcingle belt with blue and biege fabric,
Vintage Gant 'Cottage Cloth' half sleeve button down (cut down from a long sleeve due to cuff damage).
M+S patch madras flat cap.
