^ if you can track down a vintage pair of Yumas in your size don't hesitate to grab some.
The quality can vary so much on the current ones that it's hard to recommend them
(tho' John Simons did have some nice suede and pebble grain still left from the last edition of 'em which were pretty good).

Re: Ivy League style for today

Today, as the sun is shining and the Thames is calling me down for a pint...

Sperry CVOs in 'birch'(as mentioned by Armchaired in another thread),
Banana Republic 'no-show' loafer socks,
Uniqlo slim-fit selvedge jeans (not a perfect ivy fit but at £35 they'll do),
John Simons orchid print short sleeve popover,
O'Connells bucket hat in navy,
Sunpocket sunglasses.

and on the iPod...
George Russell 'Electronic Sonata for Souls Loved By Nature',
Fennesz 'Endless Summer'
John Surman 'As I was Going to St. Ives'

That's great John Boy, you've got the Talk Ivy uncomfortable in front of the camera face down perfectly and the outfit looks top. C'est superb.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Lovely popover Bop, after doing some good miles on the bike I am not fitting most of my trousers again. This weekend I hope to christen the leesures I bought - and taking hint from Ox think i'll run a crease on them.

a quick 25 miles tonight should see me through the weekend.
