Those look luscious.  I've got a few things I'd like to get from OC before it gets "cold" again here, but spending cash isn't exactly abundant at the moment.

Very nice Oli, would love some trousers from O'Connells, but the duty is such a kicker I just can't do it!

Re: Ivy League style for today

Cheers Oli, I might well do that in the future, for now - I am saving for NY next month, also, since getting back in shape (and going to try for my old 30" waist) I'm holding off trouser purchases until I have settled.

Re: Ivy League style for today

What's swinging in New York next month, just a holiday?

September in the city is my favorite time of year.

Let me know if you want some 'old NY' food and cocktail recs.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I'll drop you line pal, spent the last week working on the itinerary, got a brilliant Herb Lester map of cool vintage places (food and drink) as well as lots we have found on google etc. Seems to be stacks of great places on our doorstep - booked a few things too, Bluenote etc - though sure you can left us know about any other local gems.

Oli, let me know what you rated too fella, I didn't mean to sound dismissive before - reading it back sounds a bit like I was.
