HP is basically a mixture of worcestershire and ketchup.
I think it's labeled under some other brand in the States.
I like to dash some worcestershire into ground beef (mix of ground chuck and top sirloin ~20:10 fat ratio) then mince in a garlic clove, pat on some Barberian's steak seasoning, a touch of Colman's mustard powder, then grill to juicy rare perfection.
Oliver - The rise on my 519's is 11" which is enough for me currently. I'd guess they are a fairly recent pair but a bit earlier than the ones giving less of a rise (10"), rescued them from ebay a few weeks ago from the US. I'm aware of the TNB phrase as used by Liam who is clearly very missed among people on this site!
Woof, I think you could get by with the length on that coat. It would help to see it buttoned too. But a tad off the length wouldn't put you in any danger either. And I think the pants look fine. That's my 2 cents. How does the ass look in that suit?
I like the shirt Leer. From my recent perusal of the LE website, it seems most of their current shirts have the "classic" back collar button and locker loop. I guess someone at LE had their ear to the ground and decided the average Joe would also appreciate these features.
Oh... and damn... Billax is in fine form. I love that tie.
And Bop, forgot to mention that I also heartily enjoyed the Pendleton picture. Nice sauce squirter. We have a similar thing, but it's actually a container you put your tomato in. We also have one for an onion and a green pepper. So cute!! Anyway... Looking mighty cool.
And there was another... right? Oh yeah.. TOM! Looking smashing daahling. The Fitzies always look really nice.
Hard to keep up here today.

Whatever the ingtedients, I think we can all agree that brown sauce is for men, whereas tomato sauce is for children.
Tamarind is great stuff though.

Worried Man, I like your outfit. I also like that we both wore an open collar Button-down with a sport jacket! Back in the long-ago days when I was in college, the no-tie/dress shirt/sport jacket was just one level of formality down from the same outfit with a tie. Id est, pretty freakin' dressed up. Am I wrong in thinking that the same outfit today is viewed far more casually than it was then?
^
As I said Ollie, the clothes were good until midday. The shirt, although a mix, is almost sheer it's so thin. Just fine for a hot day. Likewise, the jacket is ridiculously thin. If anything, the khakis are too heavy.
I don't know Billax. As I've said before, it seems just tucking in your shirt and wearing proper shoes places you as more dressed up than the majority of the American public these days. There was only one other guy at brunch with a jacket. Some people were in t-shirts and shorts. But I didn't feel overdressed by any means. I feel our looks here are dress-casual in today's spectrum. If I'm wearing khakis, I'm in casual mode.
^ Plain and simple, essential ivy, nice.
