Re: Ivy League style for today

I've got a great Karl Marx picture in my dining room - it's actually cigar box art and has a picture of the great man entitled "Economist", which I think is the name of the brand of cigars. It also bears the words "Karl Marx - Strictly Hand Made"! They were produced by a tobacco co-op in Reading, PA., presumably in the late 19th or very early 20th C.; certainly before putting a picture of Karl Marx on your product was unthinkable in the USA. I love it - it's the juxtaposition of the luxury product and Marx (a bit like Cuba, really) - I regard it as Pop-art.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I just threw something and broke it.  But then I was afraid I'd get in trouble, cause I'm at work and stuff, so I'm cleaning it up now.

Ironically one the reasons I like here is the politics of a lot of the members- conservative clothes and open minds.  But it's also cos you also suffer from Clothing OCD and shoe fetishism,  it's more like a support group than anything for me?

Yeah, it's like a support group that makes the problem worse!

What are they?  Some off brand?  Did you ever take a chance on the Wranglers?

WM Local brand of work wear - little known. Not really jeans. Called moleskins here but not what UK calls moleskin. More like thick soft twill jeans.
