fine look Cap'y
I'm loving that jacket and tie combo Her Kapitan!
Agreed ^^ - that's great. Hard to see on my screen, what's the jacket material?
That's a great look for you TC!
On another note, I'm just back from Manhattan where I noticed BB are now selling shirts with a back collar button and a patch and flap breast pocket!
^I can't see it from your pic Captain but ...
If the union label has a registered trademark symbol in the bottom left quadrant under the sewing machine it'll be 1962-1976.
If the label has no reg trademark symbol present, it will date it to 1949-1962.
To give you a ballpark date.
^ so it's from 1962-76,
The vertical 'product' number in black (on the left as you look at it) would indicate that it's post '68 (pre 1968 the numbers would've be printed in red).
The Series identification on the right (G&S6) is not much help for dating purposes but was first issued in 1956 to 'JOSEPH & FEISS CO. of CLEVELAND' (The Parent company for Cricketeer and the Country Britches labels).
Thanks Prof.... I'm just glad it came into the world at some point...he he...
Tremendous attention to detail as ever Sir...
Nice to see something from Patrick again.
And Cap, that's top form there. Very nice.
Yeah, and those 874s don't look out of place with that jacket and tie.
You had the 874s cuffed Cap'n? The colours in that outfit look great.
Yep, instead of going out & treating meself to some gorgeous O'Connell's, I'd rather prance about town in 20 year old strides that you can still get for under 20 quid he he...
they'd actually be a great template for a pair of made to measure strides as it goes (with bits added of course)...
Not cuffed Woof but just turned up to their natural turn...a bit of an iron and they're as happy as Larry...they may be a tad short with shoes actually like this and I could wear em down too really, especially with boots...a bit more workywear looking of course, but then that remains with me of course..
The Ben Davis are still probably favoured over the Dickies personally..and the Trim Fit that Stylecreep are doing would suit a lot of folk on here...similar rise but frog mouth stylee pockets...
Their original fit probably way too big for most on here but again what I've dug out and enjoying again...splendid with the Flatleys...and the Paras I think...
At the end of the day mind, this is what I LOVE about clothes...the thought of ever wearing Dickies with summat like this would never have entered my head until recently... but i've decided to try and wear everything in some kinda circulation and work with what I've got...and if it makes me wanna slap a tie on again, then all good in my book....

Ox, you perfect the conservative / trad end of the ivy spectrum. It's your thing, and I always enjoy your posts. Well, unless of course you're wearing that puffy ass jacket. And even then, it fits right in to what you're doing.
TC, what are Flatleys? for me and anybody else that doesn't really know what those are?
God, I'm glad you f%cking asked that.
You lost me at "denim keydge".
