It's a brave man who wears cowboy boots in the UK! Unless they're going line dancing.........
If you see my avatar, you'll see I was an avid fan of the cowboy look. See those dungarees - all those workwear loving hipsters, just copycats man, I was an early adopter.

Wow. That's a boot scootin' Ivy first. Really breaking the rules there, Mercer. There was that one frat boy wearing cowboy boots in the Tech Ivy thread.
^ I can't work out if that's irony, but it if it is, top marks Mercer!

Man if it works for you then go for it, is it Ivy - debatable. Where about's in the South are you from Mercer?
Aren't you a fellow Georgia boy, Mercer?
Well, if we were going out for a beer or something, then I wouldn't look twice at your boots, because I get it. It IS the South and it's not like they really look bad with what you're wearing, nor would you look out of place at the local bar. However, if you told me you were interested in Ivy and solicited my advice on an outfit, I'd recommend leaving the cowboy boots in the closet and opting for some pennies or bluchers or even some Converse would work great with that outfit. Think "Southern" rather than "redneck" and then celebrate your Southern heritage with some madras and seersucker in the warmer months.
I do find that the spurs get caught in your turn ups (cuffs).
Does anyone know a tailor who's good at tapering chaps?
