The last is the Barker 21in an F, not as tubby as Trickers, but I really like the sleekness coupled with the raw power of triple soles. Ive got the Cheaney pebble grain bluchers and I have to say there's not much in them, but these have something special going on

My coworker just told me: "You look like you're from the 1940s.  I feel like when you walk into the room I should be seeing in black and white."

Haha!  Eat yer hearts out Hat Loungers.

Re: Ivy League style for today

The guy's cool.  Probably my favorite coworker.  He's Haitian, and really likes some decent music.  He plays sax, and I turned him on to Paul Desmond.  The stuff blew his mind and so now I'll occasionally hear him listening to it when I walk past his cube.  We've tossed around the idea of getting together to "jam" sometime, but it hasn't happened yet as it seems he has a "controlling wife" along with the demands of being a new father.  He has an interesting perspective on the trappings of American life, which his wife has adopted wholeheartedly, and is constantly telling me how he fantasizes about buying some land and building a simple house out of shipping containers.  Then he sighs: "But my wife just wants a $700 purse because all her friends have them."  We often get together and lament the state of modern pop music and culture.  So to Hep's point, yes, coming from him, a rarified compliment.  Had the girl in accounting made the same comment, I wouldn't have been so amused.

You better stop dissing the girl in accounting right now. She's a good friend of mine.

You'd think with my penchant for wigs I'd have a nice red one, but I don't.

Yeah.  He actually went as far as saying his wife "doesn't let him" play music anymore.
