Re: Ivy League style for today

I love the olive.  Get the olive.

These are my most generous pair, but the cuff really helped them along and I think made them look better than had I left a plain hem.  Without the cuff, I think they would likely need a slight taper.

Oh heck, I don't know.  I was aware of only one olive in the plain front chinos.  Let me go look.

Hahaha.  Oh, yes... right there.  They don't appear olive at all on my screen here.  Hmmmmm... well, the ones I own and really like are the regular olive ones.

The light olive do look a bit more appealing on my phone screen.  Hmmmmm....  What were the other ones you were interested in?  The new dress gabs?

So the LE are a darker olive?  And you wear them?  If so, maybe go for the gabs.  This is partly a selfish recommendation, because I too am curious about those and I'd like a review before I buy them.

Well, naturally, you'd just add that to the cart at the same time.  It only makes sense to combine to save on shipping to the UK.

(Watch closely everyone, as I mercilessly exploit AC's insatiable appetite for quality, classic menswear.  He's too easy.)

And didn't you also say you wanted one of those OC's Shetlands?  You know, the ones with the lovely stitching and saddle shoulder...

Re: Ivy League style for today

I would love nothing more than for you to be living in my town.  Trust me, we wouldn't be crossing paths with Mercer.  However, we may need to devise a plan to swipe those boots and replace them with some lovely PTBs, or at least some damn "El Sal" Weejuns.
