Looking very good gents.  Congrats on the new job Tommy.  I'm sure your outfit alone put you head and shoulders above any other candidates.

Martyn, welcome to the board buddy, and i think you are doing a fine job of starting your Ivy journey.
I think its great to see the next generation of posters full of eagerness and energy for Ivy.

A couple of points , please, please ,please stay away from Grey Weejuns and cowboys boots.

Hahaha.  AC lends sound advice.

Welcome Martyn.  Your looks here show that you don't necessarily have to be wearing all the best, expensive, vintage, hallowed names of Ivy in order to get the right look.

Thanks for the comments above, boys. When I was at the beach it was suggested to me that I move nearby. Nice as it was, my first thought was, "then I would have no need for all my tweed, and I would miss it."

Great looks Zar and Martyn.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Looks really good Martyn!

Sancho I don't mind tighter pants, they look fine with weejuns, and that's still a part of the ivy look in my opinion. Take Ivy has tight fitting pants everywhere, if that means anything. Looks good man.

Thanks both of you guys!

I hate to admit that I kinda fancy WMs pants and after seeing his, mine kinda looks like shit haha.

Thanks Martyn! I have this as a back-up tie, my BB Makers is missing at the moment, have to search for it now...

Re: Ivy League style for today

Well, I must say, thanks for blowing my offering out of the water, but thanks for the compliments.

I think the Wranglers work for me because I'm a "good ole Southern boy" by blood, and so they're just the physical manifestation of the super casual vibes my long-dead ancestors are channeling through my body.  Is that a satisfactory explanation?  haha.  I really have no idea.  They don't work with everything.  My most worn in pair are looking pretty damn good, I must say.  I'll try to post an update in the Wrangler thread soon.

Details on the above outfit?

Oh, and yes, I ironed a crease in those bad boys and they've held it tight after probably 10 wearings.
