Re: Ivy League style for today

Right ! I am just about to steam my clothes for an all day meeting tomorrow .

Turrentine has got me all inspired , I am thinking a J Press Herringbone  sack and Blue and white makers candy/uni.

Any advise for the bottom half brothers ?  Flannels s or chinos ?  Loafers or Gunboats ?

How about some sturdy rugged boots that wouldn't go a miss in those southern states?

Martyn i really cant talk about the boots you mention , they are a controversial topic on this thread.

Aye fair play Armchaired.  On a serious note, I'd say flannels and gunboats as well. You want to be getting the most out of them before the great british summer gets into the swing of things.

How about a Bolo tie, or just taking a lace outta your gunboat's if you wear loafers?  Sure they won't notice the difference?

hahaha.

This time of year I'm in full all-hands-on-deck gunboat mode.  Can't remember the last time I touched a loafer.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Its not going to be cold or wet tomorrow so Loafers would be OK.
I shall be driving around 60 miles (in mocs naturally) and then will be at a Hotel all day.
So in reality i could wear either but Florsheim gunboats made in USA it is,
