Love the looks, Oli. Basically what we Floridians are relegated to on a regular basis throughout the entire year. But, in a way, it makes one appreciate the opportunity to wear cooler weather gear just a little more.

The stolid Ox. Nice tie. Did you grease your hair yesterday? Just a completely tidy look all around. Good stuff.
Perpetually smart so Business as usual Ox. love the jacket, an item that's high on my list of must haves :-)
I feel like I ask you this every time you wear that blazer Ox, but what is it again? Is that the 1818?

Haha, no worries WM. That is my 1818. I have two other blazers so it is a fair question. Also, my hair is still wet in this picture as it was taken pre-work. I cant bring myself to use a blow dryer so my hair is usually wet for the first hour of work. This isn't too big of a deal, because I am generally in early enough to be alone during this time.
I think the jacket looks fine Sancho but I think it would be better paired with Robin Day Polo chair
The jacket looks fine Sancho. Just stop using it as a substitute for a pickup truck.
So, Ox, is that the Loro Piana wool 1818? I'm trying to figure out if it's the same one I bought off Oiliver. Because I feel mine is almost a bit too refined, due to the the material, to pair well with khakis. But it looks great with your outfit. I need to not worry about it and get on enjoying it. It really is a nice blazer.
That is the one Worried Man. Get on enjoying it! I also have a poplin blazer and it is perfect with chinos. Has a more casual feel. You should try to find one. It sounds more like what you want. In the meantime give that 1818 some wear!
Sancho - looks good to me.
Jacket looks good to me, Sancho!
WM, I had the same issue with the 1818 but it's really the perfect blazer to pair with O'C flannels and repp ties when dressing it up. Poplin might be a good idea... I'd love to find something similar to the cotton Jib cloth (still have no clue what the hell that means!) that I found but in navy. Kind of like those Keydge jackets which I'm not particularly fond of, in a more ideal cut... or a Wash N Wear casual style but made as a separate. Another alternative for colder months is flannel. I have a vintage Brooks flannel blazer that's great to wear casually with a Shetland or vest underneath, chinos, etc. I bought some vintage pewter buttons to replace the shiny brass and brought them to my tailor to swap out but I didn't notice until I went to put the damn thing on that he stitched every last button on, even where the weren't buttons previously... I had five buttons on each cuff!!! Haha, I'd normally have just cut them off myself but he didn't even stitch them on proportionally so some are touching and overlapping others... back in the tailoring pile!

"Well you brought the buttons, so what did you want me to do with them? Shove them up my ass?"
I take it that the jib cloth just refers to jib cloth, as in the cloth used to make sails. Kind of looks like it from the pic you posted.
WM & Oli,
The poplin blazer that I referenced is a Wash n Wear. It would be a great choice. It is a little casual which is why I like the 1818 for a more business like appearance. I don't find it to refined for chinos in a work setting.
Just saw the post above. The Belt looks great with the shirt WM. Have fun and forget those losers
