Most forumites secretly craved deep down inside to be acknowledged by being in the IPOTD, so maybe in the IIPOTD, offenders will feel encouraged and honor-bound to re-post their own inane posts.

Re: New Improved Inane Post of the Day Thread (50% More Snark)

Assuming the original "Inane Post of the Day" cycled once through a counter reset at 100,000 hits, the final tally comes down to 180,780 hits in a 1 year, 8 month period. That's about 300 hits per day.

Style Forum's most popular thread, the "what are you wearing right now" thread shows 2 M hits in a 5 year 8 month period, or 970 hits per day.

Not bad for a site that has been around for much less time and with a much smaller membership.

Should i alert people on another forum with a thread so that they can find their favorite indiscretion?

Maybe Patrick Bateman will make a return to help kick it off.

The `inane post of the day' thread is our gift to the other clothing forums.

Talk about the blind leading the blind. LOL. Would you trust the original poster or most other S.F people to evaluate your suit? This guy is deluded as hell.

He completely neglects the fit issue. As i've always said previously, he knows NOTHING about fit. The thread is an abortion!

l'm glad people are giving the thread the seriousness (not) that it deserves.

Harris proposes his own inelegance in a manner which seems to beg for the response: "No Harris, you ARE elegant, you just don't know it."

Jovan gets in on the action with his usual 'bygone era' nonsense.  This kid should seriously seek out a living grandparent.  Or even an old uncle.  Ah yes, the bygone days when everyone looked like movie stars and conducted themselves like diplomats....

Re: New Improved Inane Post of the Day Thread (50% More Snark)

^ Pure coincidence I'm sure, but it happens every time...

... I goaded AK & Andy by email as usual about their "ailing forum" 2 days ago and all of a sudden creaky old (young actually) Harris provides us all with some fresh (well, rather stale actually) "Trad" schtick...

This is the fourth time in a row that I've pulled this stunt. I take the piss out of AK, Andy & 'Trad' to their faces & Harris rises from the grave to keep the forum cranking over.

Pure coincidence.

Show me da Pimp with more Bitches than me!

wink

All the Best -

Jim
