Re: New Improved Inane Post of the Day Thread (50% More Snark)

If I may, a brief moment of more somber and I hope, measured thought. We just had a recurring bit of debate on firearms. And as we all know Cumbria suffered a violent and unseen mass killing today.
This is NOT a time to renew debate. I know of no person super sentient to forsee a taxicab with a shotgun armed driver intent on shooting people randomly.
There is no guarantee for tommorow. It could be a weak bit of artery in the head, a jumbo jet falling without warning or a likeable taxi driver named Birdie with unknown demons.

I'm Reckless Reggie of the Regent Palace,
I'm in love with every gal;
I flirt with Maudie and I flirt with Alice,
I'm a real life Regent's pal.

reg-Go eat shit and bark at the moon. If circumstances gave me 3 minutes mano a mano in real life you would be on a first name basis with a reconstructive dentist. You are a gutless wonder with utterly nothing positive to contribute, a mere troublemaker and all around douche bag your mom presented to several Liberian merchant mariners as their son in hopes of leaving the streets. I am done with you and will ignore any future flatulent gas you pass as intellect.  fuck off and die.

Wardrobe is secondary to my enthusiasm. I simply enjoy some of the programmes.
I've changed channels on more than a few. A few nights ago I tried watching a police drama involving a CIA officer being thwarted by a british policeman protecting a terrorist subject's rights, and echoing a political view of the UK as some sort of american junior partner. The CIA officer's accent was fingernails on chalkboard.
If you want real sillyness, somebody watching Madmen finally noted Don Draper's tank watch always displays the same time last season.

Midnight inanity!

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?105581-CT-Shirt-first-order-sizing-questions
"How do I wear shirts? Also, do the parts of my body occupy the amount of space they occupy? Also, I am extremely cheap!"

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?105590-Great-shoes-from-Shipton-amp-Heneage-!
Andy collects some neat swag in the form of shoes that look as if they just crawled from the primordial shoe-slime and have yet to take on defined forms (well the wholecut is not bad but you get the point).

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?105566-Ticket-Pocket
A forum ingenue seems to think that one must journey to Great Britain to obtain the sweetest plum of all - a ticket pocket. I think we need a real alpha-level troll (Russell?) to infiltrate the "fora" and start suggesting more and more superfluous pockets until the iGents start buying combination sportcoat/fishing vests.

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?105537-Age-Appropriate-Dressing
iGents shriek hysterically about an outfit that is quite obviously intended as a joke; knowledge of Project Runway is demonstrated.

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?105600-I-would-like-some-underwear-advice......
A troll receives a flip response from forum wit Bog, who for some reason does not get banned.

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?105578-Soaking-shirts
An iGent asks a bizarre question about immersing his shirts in tanks and leaving them there for days. Ezekiel Phudson might be the one to ask for advice on the subaqueation of troublesome oddments. "A double-walled tank keeps a more consistent temperature and also serves to dull that hideous tap-tap-tapping...that tapping, the incessant tapping from my dreams! It can only be quieted through...ahem, through Lands End clothing."

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?105565-Leather-Marking-Clothes
Sweat, pressure, chafing, leather and brown streaks all make an appearance in this perfectly normal discussion of belts, boots and bags.
