Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

Thanks, WM. Just need to let out the waist in the trousers a little (or cut down on the beers).

I'm always impressed by all these older suits having extra material for alterations. You just don't get that much on newer off-the-rack stuff today.

Yeah, I contacted the seller and they said it was an issue with their international calculator being broken apparently.
they said they would ship for $40 priority or $25 first class.

Yuca, do you realize that's darted?  Not that it matters really.  But I only bring it up because I didn't even see the darts on initial inspection.  It's lovely regardless.

And Oli, I love that minty green goodness.  If it's on the small side, PM my ass.  Actually no, just send the PM to me directly.

Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

If anything it'd be too large! It was listed as a 40 but the shoulders supposedly measure 17" so hopefully I'm good! It was originally listed (over a year ago) for over $200. Then down to $150. Finally discounted to $112, so I finally went for it! Gotta find a nice charcoal-navy linen tie to match it with now!

Nice scores Oli got a light green jacket myself off a mate - payment for some work. Very versatile jacket a touch darker than the one you got.

Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

Very nice... there's a similar size 40 Robert Hall on Etsy that I dig a lot but it's a bit too big in the shoulders for me.
